You don’t necessarily need a gym membership or any equipment to get a great workout at home.

Body weight circuit training is in some ways more brutal than doing cardio on a stepmill or treadmill.

The nice thing is that the right type of circuit training can also increase muscle definition while burning fat.

Here’s a video of an effective 10-exercise HIIT bodyweight workout you can do at home.

He recommends repeating each 20-second interval 8 times for each exercise (all 10).

That is intense when starting out.

I would recommend starting at 4 and maybe adding one more round each week you do this.

I would also just perform this Mon, Wed, and Fri.

I could see this working well over the course of 2-3 months.

If you are really ambitious you could also add in a 3-day “potato hack” each week.
