Have you ever seen someone who is crazy strong at pull-ups but has little in the way or back development?
This is actually a pretty common problem.

The same thing happens in rowing movements.
Here’s a video which shows how to fix that problem as well as the best way to train your back (according to research).
The best tip I got from the video is doing a lat-activation exercise BEFORE doing rows and chin-ups.
You won’t be able to use as much weight on your main back exercises, but it will lead to better development.
When doing rows, be extra cautious to avoid lower back injury.
