I just read an article about the fact that the average person feels full after eating about 4 pounds of food per day.

For 15 years I've helped fashion models get lean for photoshoots. Use my plan to Lose 5-10 pounds of PURE body fat in 14 days.
This happens almost on autopilot.
If you purposely eat less one day?
Your body will make you want to binge to make up for this.
You need to choose your 4 pounds wisely.

Here’s what the average person in the U.S. eats per day:
- 2.0 pounds of meat, dairy and eggs
- 1.5 pounds fruits and veggies
- 0.5 pound grains
- 0.5 pounds added sugars, fats and oils
About 4.5 pounds of food.
Roughly 3,700 calories per day.
You could switch up the portions to favor less calorie-dense foods.

Here are 4 pounds with a focus on less calorie-dense foods:
- 2.5 pounds of fruits and veggies
- 1.0 pounds of grains and legumes
- 0.3 pounds nuts/seeds
- 0.3 pounds meat, dairy and eggs
- 0.1 pounds added sugars, fats and oils
About 4.2 pounds of food.
Only 2,075 calories per day (compared to 3,700 for average American).
This same article had this useful graphic comparing 200 calorie servings of foods with low caloric density and foods with high caloric density.

If you build a diet of mainly fibrous and starchy carbs it is tough to eat a ton of calories.
Tip: Potatoes and sweet potatoes are surprisingly filling and I highly recommend if you are looking for a way to lose weight while being satisfied.

I have a whole course on losing weight with carbs here:
No matter what diet you choose to follow…
I would recommend looking into the caloric density of most of the foods you eat daily.
You are probably going to eat around 4 pounds of food (the body regulates this on autopilot).
