Telomeres are like caps on DNA chromosomes that protect those chromosomes.
Scientists can measure “biological age”, by how long these telomeres are.
A study in King’s College in London found that people who are physically active have longer telomeres (Study: The association between physical activity in leisure time and leukocyte telomere length.)
This study found that subjects who spent more than 3 hours each week in vigorous physical activity, had telomeres as long as inactive subjects who were 10 years younger.
I believe we need more exercise…
…NOT less.
The trend these days is 20-30 minute routines, done 3 times per week.

The idea behind this article is that your body begins to break down and decay.
…and sometime in your 40’s and 50’s this becomes the body’s default mode.

I would probably sell more if I said “you can get your dream body in just three 20 minute workouts per week”…
…but I really do believe we need to consciously increase the time spent exercising due to our inactive lifestyles.
