People tend to store body fat differently depending on age, gender, diet and activity levels, etc.

6 Types of Body Fat and How to Get Rid of It

The way to get rid of body fat can vary a bit depending upon the area of the body where the fat is stored.

Here’s a video of 6 problem areas and how to get rid of fat in those areas.

I’ve summarized the problem areas here and what causes this (according to the person who made the video).

1. Large Stomach With Upper Back Fat: Mainly caused by inactivity.

2. Lower Leg Body Fat and Excess Swelling: Common for women with vascular problem in legs or during pregnancy.

3. Bloated Stomach: Can be caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

4. Lower Body Fat: Common in women but possibly made worse by excess gluten in the diet.

5. Lower Abdomen Fat: Can be caused by stress and anxiety which increases cortisol.

6. Full Upper Body Fat: Starts to accumulate from overeating and inactivity.

My comments…

I actually believe it a calorie deficit created by a strategic diet as well as a good fat burning program, will solve 90% of these fat loss problems.

[Tip] If you are currently working out in the gym and the fat hasn’t budged, I recommend working on increasing your VO2 Max.
