…but others are rapidly losing weight by increasing the amount of potatoes they eat.

The weight loss secret of potatoes lies in the “resistant starch”.

Essentially these are calories that can’t be stored as body fat.

Here is something else that is interesting…

When you cook then cool the potato it increases their level of resistant starch.
